Now the "idea" of watermarking your work is not original,
but my way of creating the effect is my own way, hence the write up for this.......

Open an new image........

Large enough for your text ( maybe a small dingbat too to make it more personal)

Type your name//image making sure that the text setting is like so...
Stroke NULL, and Fill is BLACK

Text size, will depend on your font, but your aiming for a small watermark, as those that just paste completely over their tags,

to me just look tatty and terrible......LOL

Once your happy with the watermark-text , go to your layers palette and move the opacity to something between 20 - 40
(you will know which number, by your own choice of style)

Then add a new raster layer and merge your layers visible
(by going to Layers>Add new raster layer, then back to Layers>Merge>merge Visible)

Then using the crop tool, cut down to size
Now the best place to put this is in the picture tube (export it there) so its ready to stamp your work as and when required

Click on the watermark, then go to FILE>EXPORT>PICTURE TUBE, and set like so.....

Then when you open your picture tube tool up, it will be there, you can should you need to resize it in there also

I prefere to add my watermark to my work, on a separate layer, that way I can blend it into my work, and / or , move it around to suit myself
always making sure I MERGE VISIBLE when I finish............

* Tips *

Often a good idea to save the watermark image to a folder, just incase LOL

I often, place my watermark on a blank image in PSP, and paste it over to Animation Shop, when working in there, so I can duplicate my watermark, and add it to the finished animation so its on all frames

for adding this to all frames

Click on your watermark in Animation Shop and duplicate this to the amount of frames the same as your Animation

then ( fave short cut keys) CTRL A (selects all) , CTRL C (copy)

then click on the Animation and CTRL A (selects all)

then CTRL E (which pastes directly to the selected frames in one go)

SAVE AS..........
