Sammy Snowman is a simple creation

something I hope your will try, as I know you will love it

open a new image 400 X 400 transparent background

add a new layer and call this body

click on PRE SET SHAPES TOOL , and using the eclipse shape
set as so....

and having our colour palette as white / white on the preset shapes

draw you body of the snowman
now go to selections/select all  - selections/float - selections/invert

now add this dropped shadow, using a pale gray , mine was #DFDBDB

now add a new layer, and call this head
using your PRE SET SHAPES TOOL again, draw the head , slightly smaller then the body!

now go to selections/select all  - selections/float - selections/invert

now add this dropped shadow, using a pale gray , mine was #DFDBDB

now add a new layer , and call this hat1
change your fills on the preset shapes colours to Black / Black
using your PRE SET SHAPES TOOL, and the rounded rectangle shape draw the base of the hat like so

add a new layer and call this hat2
using your PRE SET SHAPES TOOL, and the rounded rectangle shape draw the top of the hat like so

add a new layer and call this arms
now using the DRAW TOOL, set as brown colour and these settings
now draw your branches as arms,,, doesn't matter if they are bit wobbly, it adds to the effect :O)
you might wish to ZOOM in abit for this section!

now add a new layer and call it Buttons
yep you guessed it were adding buttons to this snowman :O)
using the PAINT BRUSH TOOL, set like so..

 colour Black add your 3 buttons :O)
now go to EFFECTS // Blur// Gaussion blur//radius 1.00

now add a new layer and call this eyes
using the same PAINT BRUSH TOOL , only this time change the size too 12 add two little eyes
now go to EFFECTS // Blur// Gaussion blur//radius 1.00

now yet again add a new layer and call this nose
click on PRE SET SHAPES and using the triangle shape// colours set at orange, (#F29716)draw your small carrot nose
you will find you need to either rotate this with the rotate tool, (image/rotate/add a number) or the deformation tool
now go to EFFECTS // Blur// Gaussion blur//radius 1.00

add a new layer and call this smile
using the PAINT BRUSH TOOL , same settings as eyes, but change the size to size 8, draw dots together to form a smile

now go to EFFECTS // Blur// Gaussion blur//radius 1.00

we are nearly done... :O)

2 things left to add ( optional, )

add new layer call this pipe

 ( optional, mine is a non smoker so it doesn't have one LOL)
now using the draw tool , PANIC , draw a small pipe hehe in black

add a new layer and call this scarf
now using the draw tool still...

now change the fill/ to suit your own colours I chose blue :O)
and I changed the size to 15 , and drew the scarf
I then added a noise effect - noise 100 random
and then added a drop shadow effect of ...

when happy with your snowman go to layers/merge/merge visible  and save your snowman as a paint shop pro tube ready for using again

as you made this with all mouse tool work....guess what, its yours / no copyright issues :O)
