Either
using my tube/font or one of your own...
Download
Supplies of Tube/Font HERE,
and open Tube in PSP8
&
placing the Font into your Fonts Folder in C-Drive
(or
where ever yours is, or just opening and minimizing to you taskbar)
firstly open a new image...
600
X 400 transparent...I like to work with space...cant be doing with
no room to swing a cat lol
Click
onto your image and right click COPY - ( CTRL C ) and then paste
into your new image right click on your new image PASTE as new
selection ( CTRL E)
now
we need to add a new RASTER layer - to do this... click
layers>>add new raster layer>>(rename it NAME) click ok
now
using your A-Tool , we need to create our name...
Clicking on the Material Colour Bar on the right hand side of your
PSP
you will see you can use Paint Colours/Gradients (which are
colourful fills)/Patterns (which give texture/patterns to your
colours)
its all about playing about and finding something you like... :O)
once
your happy with that, we need to add an inner bevel to our name (
this makes it stand out nice)
click EFFECTS>>3D-Effects>>Inner Bevel>> I used
the preset Metallic setting , you choose your own too :O)
add
a Drop Shadow Effect too...like I did,
go
to EFFECTS>>3D-effects>>Drop Shadow

add
the same Dropped Shadow effect to your Image too :O)
now
we need to drag our Image above the NAME, so that the Image looks
like she's sitting on it :O)
to do this...go to your layers palette and drag the image right to
the top
now
using your Mover Tool position your name/image so it looks right...
now when your happy with that...Merge Layers Visible
copy
and paste your image into Animation Shop and save as Gif File, you
will find it saves transparent like that :O)
if
your OPTIMIZER SETTINGS aren't set up right...then please check here...for
help
you will know if they aint set right....they mostly aren't...lol
till you alter them...
