~Flower Pot~

welcome to the Selections Flower Pot Tut :O)

You CANNOT create anything from it for Profit - Also you cannot create Outlines/Tubes from the finished results and offer these to anyone, although you may keep the Outlines/Tubes for your own personal use
You can create Tags/Web sets/Stationary from the Tutorial, as long as you keep things FREE.

firstly download the selections :O)

if your wishing to try this and are not a member

lets begin!

open an image 400 X 400 transparent

go to Selections>>load from disc>>and then load LID.Sel

and using your Paint can - Flood fill the sel with #FE923A (orange)

then go to layers/and rename that layer as LID

then add a new layer and call it Bottom - and then go to Selections>>load from disc>> load my Bottom.Sel

and using your Paint can - Flood fill the sel with #FE923A (orange)

Now X out your BOTTOM layer and highlight the LID like so...

 now using your Magic wand tool click inside the LID - and then go to SELECTIONS>>MODIFY>>EXPAND (BY 1 PIXEL) and then fill with green - #0CDD01 then deselect by CTRL D

using your selections tool go around the LID to make the marching ants active -

then SELECTIONS>>INVERT>>

then use these settings for the Dropped Shadow!

 NOW using your mover tool reposition the lid to the right place

when happy with this go to LAYERS >>MERGE VISIBLE

using your pre set shapes - and on a flower pattern - colour of your choice add a new layer and place a sweet looking flower in the centre of your flower pot !

* Don't forget to alter your line width - to something like 2 or 3*

 when happy with this go to LAYERS >>MERGE VISIBLE

that's it your flower pot is all done!
